Coconut Berry Breakfast Bowl

IMG_48201What are your plans for the weekend? I’m going to start it with a delicious and nutritious family breakfast on a Saturday morning. Surprise your beloved ones this weekend. It`s easy.

All you need is berries, bananas, coconut yoghurt and some inspiration! Sprinkle your smoothie bowl with muesli, granola or puffed grains, chia seeds, goji berries, favourite fresh fruits and berries, seeds and nuts. Enjoy!


2 Serves

  • 4 ripe bananas
  • 2 cups mixed berries, fresh or frozen. I added raspberries, blueberries and blackberries.
  • 2 heaped Tbsp coconut yoghurt
  • 2 Tbsp granola or muesli

To serve: a heaped tablespoon of coconut yoghurt, fresh fruits and berries, seeds and nuts, mint leaves.

Put all the ingredients in a blender, mix well until smooth and creamy. If you are using a high-speed blender is not necessary to add the liquid in the smoothie. If the mixture is too dry add a splash of almond milk or just water. Add a sweetener if needed. I didn’t add sweetener, my granola is sweet enough.

Pour the coconut berry smoothie in the bowls, top with fruits and berries, sprinkle with granola, seeds and nuts.
